Flash Enhanced Websites are generally utilized for creative and artistic industries. Businesses such as recording artists, interior designers, artists, and dance companies will use a Flash Enhanced website as a marketing tool and another form of creative expression. Flash websites are priced higher than a Basic HTML site due to the added labor of creating the presentations.
A Flash Enhanced Website will often have a "Splash Page" where the visitor lands. The visitor will be prompted to "Click Enter", whereupon a Flash Presentation or Movie is displayed. Flash is a language invisible and ignored by search engines. This is not to say that some Flash Enhancements cannot be used on a Search Engine Optimized website. A small amount of Flash placed strategically is acceptable.
